Professional Biography

In the Asian society, the next step up for my generation was to become an engineer, or applied scientist, or some aspect of the corporate world. In my case, with the influence of speech and debate, I chose law. And in order to support my goals at that time I went into teaching. After a few years into teaching I discovered that the legal profession was not for me so I continued in teaching for the next fourteen years, and thoroughly enjoyed my efforts, students, and work. During the break in teaching, I was able to acquire a financial stability in the business work in real estate, transportation, telecommunication and international trade. My professions  ranged from builder/ developer, investor, cofounder of a long distance telephone company, and even an administrative judge in property tax disputes.

Education is taking many new turns with different technology available to implement these changes in e  learning and web based training. Change management has forced many of us to inquire, study, and participate in the different technologies. At this point of my life I do not intend to let any grass grow around my feet, I will be chasing technologies and e learning for a long time.
