Communication
In today’s society there are three forms
of languages:
informal, (slang and speech used among friends)
formal, (standard English) and
technical (specialized language usually dealing
with specific field.)
Special speech communities are becoming influenced
more often by the speaker’s gender and culture.
In reaction to negative connotations more attention
is being given to the development of nonsexist language
usage.
